What makes people like the idea of low cost lead generation? All of the different lead generation methods are usable in any of the different types of businesses. However, in this discussion we are only going to talk about folks like you and me who do Network Marketing.
As Far As That Goes, What Draws Us To Network Marketing?
I have been working in and around the MLM industry for a good thirty five years. I have been in and out and around and about trying as I could to make it work for me. I never even thought about low cost lead generation. I just wanted to have some lead success. Do you relate?
I have also been involved in the construction trade all of those years. Usually I would be working the MLM part of my life on the side while doing something in construction. Sometimes, there would be down economies where construction was dead and MLM was full time.
At any rate, I have done many different activities in MLM just like you have to try and generate leads. Warm market; purchased lead lists; cold calls; going up and down the streets; Malls; etc, etc, etc.
So What Is It That Low Cost Lead Generation Has Or Doesn’t Have In Common With All Of The Above?
Some of the common ground that all businesses have are: They all have to have a beginning. Someone had to build the foundational base and the infrastructure. All of them require time and effort to make that happen. There had to be commitment and a rigorous daily schedule of success happening events to get to the break even point and beyond. Time and effort had to be managed to build the foundation as well as during the ongoing success period of the business.
Time taught me that construction was easy to profit from in a good economy, but only those businesses who were prepared and the best at what they do held up in a down economy.
However, the opposite seemed to be true for the network marketing world. In a bad economy when many were out of work, MLM seemed to be at its best.
So, What Does This Have To Do With Low Cost Lead Generation Combined With Network Marketing?
1. Whether you do traditional or online lead generating methods, it takes a beginning and the building of a foundation. 2. You have to have the tenacity to make it happen. 3. You have to do the activities and tasks that really make your foundation solid. 4. You have to continue on with the daily activities even after you have success.
I didn’t have the long range success with traditional MLM for the most part because I could never stay in it long enough to get past the financial difficulties.
With low cost lead generation on the Internet, that high cost of being out there exposing yourself to your chosen market isn’t as much a factor. You just have to do the labor and maintain a steady consistent daily routine. You can do it in your underwear if you want. There is nothing to put gas into. Nothing to snail mail. Just a few low cost online tools and consistency.
I’m glad I found the internet opportunities that have turned it around for me.
